A new controversy has surfaced in the Telugu film industry involving HanuMan director Prasanth Varma and the film’s producer, K. Niranjan Reddy. What began as a creative partnership has now turned into a public disagreement over financial dealings and project commitments.

It is said that advances were offered for multiple upcoming films that were expected to be directed by Varma under the same banner. These projects reportedly included titles like Adhira, Mahakali, Jai Hanuman, and Brahma Rakshasa. The producer claims that despite giving advance payments, the projects did not move forward as planned.
The situation escalated when the producer alleged that the financial loss and stalled production plans amounted to a huge setback. He also stated that the delay affected other business opportunities connected to the proposed films.
On the other side, Prasanth Varma has countered these allegations strongly. He has clarified that not all the proposed projects were officially finalized and that some of them were only at a verbal discussion stage. He stated that without formal agreements, he cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellations. Varma also emphasized that he has not misused any funds and is ready to clear misunderstandings through proper discussion.
