High Court Orders: No Police Action Against Allu Arjun Until November 6

Date:

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has reserved its decision for November 6 in response to a petition by actor Allu Arjun and former MLA Ravichandra Reddy, who are seeking to dismiss an FIR alleging election code violations. The case, presided over by Justice V.R.K. Krupa Sagar, also instructed the police to abstain from any legal actions against Arjun and Reddy until the ruling.

According to the petitioners’ lawyer, Y. Nagireddy, Allu Arjun’s May 11 visit to Reddy’s residence in Nandyal was solely personal, intended to congratulate Reddy on his election candidacy. However, the large crowd gathered during the visit reportedly violated Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which restricts public gatherings. The assistant public prosecutor stated that a chargesheet is already filed, pending further court action.

The court concluded the session after considering both sides, providing temporary relief for Arjun and Reddy until the November 6 verdict. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun continues filming for his upcoming project Pushpa: The Rule, generating excitement among his fans.
