With the recent introduction of Amitabh Bachchan’s character as Ashwathhama, the buzz surrounding Prabhas’ upcoming film, Kalki 2898 AD, has reached new heights. While initially touted as a sci-fi venture, this glimpse hints at a unique blend of mythology and science—a rare fusion that promises an intriguing cinematic experience.
Director Sarwagna Kumar, known for Aha’s ‘My Dear Donga,’ teased audiences with cryptic details about his involvement, stating, “I contributed as an additional writer for Kalki 2898 AD. While I can’t divulge specifics, I can assure you that the film will introduce a groundbreaking concept unlike anything seen before.”
Starring Deepika Padukone as the female lead and featuring a cameo by the legendary Kamal Haasan, alongside Bollywood sensation Disha Patani, the film is backed by Aswani Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Fans can anticipate a grand theatrical release on June 27th.
