Prasanth Varma’s Hanuman was a massive blockbuster, exceeding all expectations and reaching numerous milestones during its theatrical run. Produced by Prime Show Entertainment, its highly anticipated sequel, Jai Hanuman, has now moved to Mythri Movie Makers, who are set to produce the film on a grander scale.
After extensive discussions with several actors for the lead role, the makers have finalized Kantara star Rishabh Shetty to play the iconic character of Hanuman. Currently, Shetty is occupied with the prequel to Kantara, while director Prasanth Varma is working on Mokshagna’s debut project.
Jai Hanuman is expected to begin filming in early 2026, once these ongoing projects are completed. This sequel will prominently feature Lord Hanuman in a full-length role, unlike the previous film. Prasanth Varma has already started work on the project and teased fans with hints on his official X account.
