“Jailer 2” is likely to begin filming at the end of this year. Superstar Rajinikanth’s “Vettiyan” is set to release this year, and his next project, “Coolie,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is already in production. The shooting for “Jailer 2” will commence after these two films. “Coolie” is planned for a summer 2025 release, while the much-anticipated “Jailer 2” is expected to hit theaters in the first half of 2026.
