Devara, starring Jr. NTR, is one of Tollywood’s most eagerly awaited releases. Directed by Koratala Siva, the action drama will hit theaters in just four days, with advance bookings slowly opening across Andhra Pradesh. The film also marks the highly anticipated Telugu debut of Bollywood sensation Janhvi Kapoor.
The film’s cinematographer, Rathnavelu, recently shared intriguing details about Janhvi’s role, comparing her presence to that of her legendary mother, Sridevi, in Telugu cinema. He revealed, “Janhvi appears only in the second half due to how the script is written, but she will have much greater prominence in Devara 2.”
Rathnavelu also praised Janhvi’s acting skills, saying, “She is a natural performer. Even if given a three-page dialogue, she absorbs the meaning and delivers it flawlessly. NTR Garu was genuinely impressed by her performance, as she even memorized his dialogues. She has a bright future in Tollywood.”
