Before its release, the makers announced that Kanguva would have an 8-week theatrical window before it made its way to OTT. Amazon Prime Video secured the digital rights of the film, with plans to stream it in the second week of December in South Indian languages. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, the HD print of Kanguva has been leaked online ahead of its official OTT debut.
This leak is a significant blow to the digital platform, especially since the Tamil version of the HD print was made available online.
