After a string of setbacks, young actor Kiran Abbavaram made a strong comeback with KA, a mystery thriller that grossed over ₹50 crores. Now, he is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming romantic drama Dilruba, co-starring Rukshar Dhillon. Directed by debutant Viswa Karun, the film is slated for release on March 14.
In a recent interview, Kiran shared what makes Dilruba unique. “The story takes an interesting turn when the protagonist’s ex-lover returns and helps him reunite with his current love. I believe this aspect will strongly connect with the youth. We’ve intentionally kept details about the second female lead under wraps,” he revealed.
He further added that Dilruba isn’t just about romance but also features action-packed moments. “The hero in this film never says ‘sorry’ or ‘thanks’ to anyone because I feel these words are often misunderstood. After KA, I rewatched Dilruba and realized that audiences no longer tolerate cringe scenes. It’s important not to annoy the viewers,” he stated.
With an intriguing premise and a fresh approach, Dilruba is set to offer a refreshing cinematic experience for audiences.
