Kiran Abbavaram’s latest Telugu release, K-Ramp, is off to a flying start at the box office. The film opened to decent numbers on its first day and gained strong momentum on Day 2, surprising many in the industry. Collections across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana almost doubled on the second day, proving that positive word of mouth is working in the film’s favor.
Despite receiving mixed reviews overseas, audience response in India has been overwhelmingly positive. As the shows progressed, the film began to pick up pace, with crowds turning out in large numbers for evening and weekend screenings. This surge in collections indicates that K-Ramp has struck a chord with family and youth audiences alike.
Trade analysts estimate the worldwide breakeven target for K-Ramp at around ₹16 crore. With nearly ₹8 crore already collected within two days, the movie has achieved close to 50% of its goal. This puts it in a strong position heading into the festive season, when theatre attendance traditionally spikes.
The film’s solid performance also marks another win for Kiran Abbavaram, who continues to strengthen his box office reputation. If the current momentum continues, K-Ramp is expected to cross its breakeven mark by midweek and could easily surpass ₹25 crore in its full run.
With its growing popularity and favorable audience reception, K-Ramp is well on its way to becoming one of the surprise blockbusters of the year.
