Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, hit theatres on June 20th and turned out to be a successful venture. As its theatrical run nears completion, the film is now gearing up for its digital debut.
Despite receiving widespread positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth, Kuberaa didn’t fully capitalize on its potential across all markets. While the film performed exceptionally well in Telugu states, grossing nearly ₹100 crore, its performance in Tamil and other language markets was underwhelming.
Nevertheless, the film managed to secure an impressive total box office collection of over ₹130 crore, officially making it a hit. Now, Kuberaa is all set to make its OTT debut.
The digital rights for the film have been acquired by Prime Video for a massive ₹47 crore. The film will begin streaming from July 18th in all languages on the platform. Fans who missed it in theatres can now catch the acclaimed film from the comfort of their homes.
