Mohanlal is gearing up for release on 27th March worldwide for his film Empuraan. The film is now carrying great hype. There is now buzz among the fans and audience. L2: Empuraan also set a record for Mollywood. It is the first film to cross the 50 crore mark on opening day.
The current advance sales cross 47 crores. 30 crores come from the Overseas and the rest 17 crores from India. The previous highest opening was 20 crores.
The film, which is the second part of Lucifer, is an action,political drama. The film was earlier not having so much buzz, but as the days passed, it created a buzz among fans. Lucifer was remade as Godfather also. The movie is also having a stellar cast.
L2 has huge hopes from fans. The film has eventually become a hit within 1 day. The film has proved its metal.
