Empuraan surpassed ₹100 crore globally. It was done within two days of release. This made it the fastest Malayalam film to do so. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial is the 10th Malayalam movie to earn this much ( 100 crore mark). The movie is a must watch and is getting recommended by the audience. Mohanlal astonished the audience by his stellar performance and has proved the metal of his movie.
Within 3 days, the film has smashed the box office and is entertaining the audience.
On Day 1, the film collected nearly 67 crores worldwide. On Day 2, it has collected 35 crores. In India, the Day 3 collections are higher than the opening day and in the overseas market, it has been trending well.The total 3 days worldwide gross is expected to be in the range of 145 crores.
