Lal Salaam, starring Superstar Rajinikanth in a pivotal role, was originally scheduled for a Sankranti season release, but it faced an unexpected delay for undisclosed reasons. The latest update from the team reveals that the highly anticipated film is now set for a grand worldwide release on 9th February. Interestingly, February is not typically considered a prime month for film releases.
Leading roles in the movie are portrayed by Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, with Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Rajinikanth’s daughter, at the helm as the director. Jeevitha Rajasekhar and Nirosha also play crucial roles, and the project is produced by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. Renowned composer AR Rahman is in charge of the musical score. Lal Salaam is expected to clash with Ravi Teja’s Eagle at the Tollywood box office.
