Tollywood’s promising young director Venky Atluri collaborates with Dulquer Salmaan in his latest venture, Lucky Bhaskar, following his successful film Sir/Vaathi with Dhanush. This crime thriller, set in the retro era, stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Produced under Trivikram’s banner, the film was made on a modest budget and is set for a grand release worldwide on October 31 in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. To boost anticipation, Lucky Bhaskar premiered across more than 150 theatres in the two Telugu states a day before its official release, creating a significant buzz that’s expected to boost its opening day collections.


Lucky Bhaskar follows the story of Bhaskar, played by Dulquer Salmaan, a bank cashier who dreams of living a lavish lifestyle. Driven by ambition, he seizes every opportunity that brings him closer to his dreams—no matter the risks. The plot delves into the consequences on his personal life as he becomes entangled in a high-stakes money-laundering mafia.
