MAD Square – A watchable comedy entertainer

MAD Square is the latest Telugu movie. It is a coming-of-age comedy-drama and a sequel to the 2023 super hit MAD.  It is getting a lot of buzz. People are also liking the drama. The movie is well crafted.

Story-

Laddu (Vishnu Oi) arrives at Tihar Central Jail, striking fear into everyone around him. A gang of prisoners asks what led him there as there were curious about his past.Laddu narrates  his story about how his three friends, Manoj (Ram Nithin), Ashok (Narne Nithiin), and Damodhar (Sangeeth Sobhan), turned his wedding into a disaster. It turned into  a chain of events involving more people and unexpected twists that ultimately led to his downfall. Packed with fun, chaos, and surprises, you should watch this movie to know more about the film.

MAD Square gives you a fair share of laughs and it also promises entertainment.

Vishnu Oi shines as the central character  and has satisfied the audience with his performance. The comedy scenes are also well executed.

While the film was never shown as story-driven. The real issue lies in the uneven comedy.  The second half also lacks the same energy. This installment lacks engaging songs and a memorable love track.

While the film has its fun moments, the lack of a strong story. The humour is also absent in some parts. However it is fun and engaging to watch.
