Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty’s family entertainer “Manamey” hit cinemas worldwide last Friday. Despite receiving mixed responses from audiences, the reviews didn’t hinder its box office performance. Following a significant surge on day two, the film maintained a strong showing on day three.
Trade reports indicate that “Manamey” grossed approximately Rs. 8 crore over its first weekend. Although the India vs. Pakistan cricket match slightly impacted the third day’s collections, the overall numbers remain robust, considering the mixed feedback.
Directed by Sriram Adittya, “Manamey” features a talented ensemble cast, including Vikram Adittya, Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Rahul Ravindran, and Shiva Kandukuri in pivotal roles. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory, the film’s music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
