Exciting news awaits fans as “Manjummel Boys” is set to make its digital debut on Disney Plus Hotstar on May 5, as officially confirmed by the streaming platform. The film will be accessible in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages starting from the mentioned date. Notably, the gap between its theatrical release and OTT premiere spans 74 days.
Set against the backdrop of 2006, the movie narrates the gripping real-life saga of young men hailing from Manjummel who courageously rescued their friend trapped in Kodaikanal’s Guna cave. Directed by Chidambaram, this survival thriller features an ensemble cast including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Basi, Balu Varghese, Ganapati S Poduval, Jean Paul Lal, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arjun Kurian in pivotal roles.
