Marco, starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, has become a sensational blockbuster, crossing the 90 Cr mark at the box office. The film continued its strong performance over the weekend, showing impressive numbers.
In its 17-day run, Marco has earned 40 Cr in Kerala, with an additional 20 Cr from the rest of India. The film has also garnered around 31 Cr overseas, bringing its total worldwide gross to 91 Cr.
The movie is performing well in both the Malayalam and Hindi versions. While it had a strong opening in Telugu, it didn’t see significant growth over the weekend. Despite the lower price at which the Telugu rights were sold, the film has already achieved breakeven in that market. Marco was also released in Tamil on Friday, though it didn’t see a strong opening there. However, the stronghold of the Malayalam and Hindi versions is expected to push the film closer to the 100 Cr milestone.
