The Malayalam film Marco, featuring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, has become a sensational hit, surpassing the 90 Cr mark at the box office. The film continued its impressive run with another strong weekend.
After 17 days, Marco has garnered 40 Cr in Kerala alone. The film’s gross from the rest of India stands at approximately 20 Cr, while the overseas collections have reached 31 Cr, bringing the total worldwide gross to an impressive 91 Cr.
The movie is performing exceptionally well in its Malayalam and Hindi versions. Although it opened strong in Telugu, it saw limited growth over the weekend. However, due to its lower distribution costs, Marco has already achieved breakeven in the Telugu market. The film’s Tamil release on Friday witnessed a modest opening. Despite this, the robust performance in Malayalam and Hindi is expected to propel Marco into the prestigious 100 Cr club soon.
