Vishwak Sen, one of the rising stars of Telugu cinema, returns to the big screen with his latest film, Mechanic Rocky, a mix of action and comedy. Despite receiving a mixed response from critics, the film had a solid opening on its first day.

Mechanic Rocky earned Rs 1.40 crore on Day 1, according to Sacnilk. Made on a budget of Rs 20 crore, the film’s initial performance has been decent.
In an interview with OTTplay, Vishwak Sen shared what audiences can expect from the film: “Mechanic Rocky is very close to my heart. It has a hidden twist that we couldn’t reveal in the trailer. Spoiling that twist would give away too much of the plot. We want the audience to come expecting a masala entertainer, but we’ll surprise them with a gripping narrative.”
Vishwak Sen also addressed the delays in the film’s release, citing initial scheduling conflicts with actors and production issues. He praised producer Ram Talluri for his unwavering confidence in the project, stating that premiere shows would be held two days in advance. Despite the delays, the film carries a contemporary message that Sen believes will connect with audiences.
