In a candid conversation on the Raw Talks With VK podcast, actor Naga Chaitanya shared rare insights into his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He addressed the public scrutiny surrounding their separation, emphasizing that it was a mutual decision made with respect.
“We decided to part ways for our own reasons and have moved forward in life. I don’t understand what more explanation is needed. We requested privacy, but unfortunately, it became a headline, a topic of gossip, and even entertainment,” Chaitanya stated.
The actor expressed disappointment over being unfairly judged by a section of fans, despite both he and Samantha handling the situation gracefully. “I have moved on with grace. She has moved on with grace. We respect each other and are leading our own lives. I’ve found love again and am truly happy. So why am I treated like a criminal?” he questioned.
Chaitanya further clarified that the divorce was a well-thought-out decision, taken for the betterment of everyone involved. “It wasn’t impulsive; it was a conscious decision made after a lot of consideration,” he added.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s relationship began in 2015, leading to a grand wedding in Goa on October 6, 2017, with both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. After announcing their separation in October 2021, their divorce was finalized the following year.
Moving forward, Chaitanya found love again and recently married actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios.
