Akhil Akkineni faced a significant setback with the failure of “Agent,” a project he dedicated substantial time and effort to. The film was not only a box office disappointment for Akhil and director Surender Reddy but also one of Tollywood’s most notable flops.
Since the debacle, Akhil has kept a low profile. Despite it being over a year since “Agent,” his next project has yet to be officially announced. However, Akhil’s upcoming film will be directed by debutant Anil under UV Creations. This big-budget project will feature extensive VFX work, with an official announcement expected soon.
Following the UV Creations project, Akhil will star in a film produced by his father, Nagarjuna. This movie, set against a rural backdrop, will be directed by Kishore, known for “Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha,” and is based in Chittoor.
