Fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi are buzzing with excitement over his upcoming film with hit director Anil Ravipudi. Tentatively titled Mega157, the movie was recently launched, with shooting set to begin soon. Adding to the excitement, the makers have officially announced that star actress Nayanthara will be playing the female lead.
Anil Ravipudi, known for his entertaining announcements, delivered once again with a fun and original video introducing Nayanthara. The video shows the actress chatting in Telugu with her team, dancing to Chiranjeevi’s classic hits during a car ride, reading her script, and even delivering one of Chiru’s iconic dialogues—all with her trademark charm. At the end, Ravipudi appears on screen to confirm the news.
This marks Nayanthara’s third collaboration with Chiranjeevi, after her performances in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather. Her participation in this playful promo, a rare move for the actress, showcases Ravipudi’s flair for creative storytelling. He’s reportedly designed a unique and memorable role for her in this film.
Mega157 is being planned for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release. The latest promo even ends with a nod to one of Chiranjeevi’s iconic dialogues to reaffirm the festive release date.
