Renowned across Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema, Nithya Menon has established herself as a versatile actress with a career spanning over fifteen years. Throughout her journey, she has portrayed a myriad of memorable characters, showcasing her exceptional acting skills.
In recent years, Nithya Menon has chosen to veer away from mainstream commercial cinema, focusing instead on content-driven projects and web shows like “Breathe: Into the Shadows” and “Modern Love Hyderabad.”
Continuing in this trajectory, she has now signed on to play the female lead in “Raayan,” a Tamil film starring Dhanush. Notably, this marks Dhanush’s 50th feature film appearance, with the film being written and directed by Dhanush himself. Produced by Sun Pictures, “Raayan” is set to be an action-packed thriller, with musical maestro A. R. Rahman composing both the background score and songs.
This collaboration will mark the second time Nithya Menon shares the screen with Dhanush, following their previous blockbuster success in “Thiruchitrambalam” (2022).
Additionally, Nithya Menon has also been roped in for a female-centric project in Tamil. Directed by debutante Kamini and jointly produced by Bask Time Theatres and POPter Media, this untitled project promises to further showcase Nithya Menon’s prowess and versatility as an actress.
