NTR’s Pan-Indian action drama Devara has made a phenomenal debut at the box office, surpassing expectations. Early estimates suggest that the global box office collection is poised to cross Rs. 140 crores. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara has raked in a massive Rs. 54.21 crore share from both Telugu states, making it the second-highest opener, just behind the blockbuster RRR.
In the Nizam region, Devara had an extraordinary opening, securing a distributor share of Rs. 19.32 crores (as reported by PR sources). This marks the second-biggest Nizam opening, again next to RRR. NTR’s immense star power, additional shows, and premium ticket pricing contributed significantly to this remarkable start. Ticket prices have been adjusted from day two, which is expected to attract more family audiences to theaters.
The film stars Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. This high-budget entertainer is co-produced by Kosaraju Harikrishna and Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the banners of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, with music composed by rockstar Anirudh.
