Sujeeth Reddy Biography:
Sujeeth Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter. He made his directorial debut in Telugu cinema with the romantic comedy thriller “Run Raja Run” at the age of 23. In 2015, he received the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Director (Telugu) for his work on “Run Raja Run.”
Sujeeth Reddy Career:
Sujeeth Reddy began creating short films at the age of 17. He holds a film degree from the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy in Chennai and has created over 30 short films. In an interview, Sujeeth stated, “I actually came into the film industry to work as an assistant director under Puri Jagannadh. But Puri suggested that I should direct my own films.”
Sujeeth received an opportunity to direct a high-budget film under the UV Creations banner. He developed a compelling story for Prabhas, who agreed to star in the film after completing “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.” The film, titled “Saaho,” was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
Pre-production for “Saaho” began in March 2018, with Sujeeth assembling a cast and crew from Bollywood. In another interview, Sujeeth mentioned, “After receiving a highly positive review of ‘Saaho’ from the North Indian audience, Shah Rukh Khan invited me to meet him.”
