The much-awaited gangster drama OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, has completed its short shooting schedule in Hyderabad. The actor-politician, who recently took on the role of Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is back on set and actively participating in the film’s progress.
Director Sujeeth, known for his work on Saaho, wrapped up the Hyderabad schedule at Annapurna Seven Acres Studio earlier this week. The team is now preparing to shift gears, with the next leg of shooting scheduled to take place in Mumbai later this weekend.
Sources reveal that Pawan Kalyan has assured the team he will complete the remaining shoot without any delays this time. Given his busy political commitments, the team is working around the clock to make the most of his availability and wrap up production quickly—before any unexpected schedule changes arise.
OG is set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s underworld, with Pawan Kalyan portraying the intense and powerful character of Ojas Gambheera. Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead in this action-packed entertainer. The film is being produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner, while music is composed by Thaman.
If all goes as planned, OG is targeting a grand theatrical release in September 2025.
