Kollywood star couple Suriya and Jyothika made a stunning appearance at the special screening of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s latest film, Sarfira, in Mumbai last night. The duo looked elegant as they posed for photos alongside Akshay Kumar, actress Radhika Madan, and the film’s director, Sudha Kongara, after the premiere.
Sarfira marks a milestone as Akshay Kumar’s 150th movie. This film is an official remake of Suriya’s critically acclaimed drama, Soorarai Pottru, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2020. The story is inspired by the life of former Indian Army Captain Gorur Ramaswamy Iyengar Gopinath, also known as GR Gopinath, and his remarkable journey in founding India’s low-cost airline, Air Deccan.
Suriya and Jyothika co-produced Sarfira along with Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra. The film features Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in lead roles, with Suriya making a special appearance. Renowned Tamil composer GV Prakash Kumar has created the soundtrack for the movie. Sarfira is set to release in cinemas worldwide on July 12.
