It’s been a while since star heroine Pooja Hegde appeared in a South Indian film. Currently, she is working on the Hindi film Sanki, featuring Ahan Shetty, which is slated for release on Valentine’s Day 2025.
According to the latest reports, Pooja Hegde will play the leading lady in an upcoming Tamil movie. She is rumored to star alongside Kollywood actor Suriya in a film directed by Karthik Subbaraj. If confirmed, this will be Pooja’s third Tamil film after Mugamoodi and Beast.
Tentatively titled Suriya44, the film is expected to start shooting in the first week of June in the Andaman Islands. Malayalam actor Joju George will play a crucial role in the movie. Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment in collaboration with Stone Bench Films, this project is set to be a major release. Santosh Narayanan will compose the soundtrack.
