Pan-India stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s sci-fi thriller, “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, released worldwide yesterday amid immense hype and expectations. The film received positive feedback from fans and critics, helping it break several box office records globally.
In the twin Telugu states, “Kalki 2898 AD” registered the third all-time highest opening, following “RRR” and “Salaar.” The film grossed Rs 72 crore across Andhra, Nizam, and Ceded regions on its first day. It collected Rs 19.70 crore in Nizam, Rs 5.25 crore in the Ceded region, and Rs 21 crore in Andhra, totaling Rs 45 crore in the twin Telugu states.
“Kalki 2898 AD” also features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, and cameo appearances by Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda.
