Tollywood’s ambitious project Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, is being made on a grand scale with a star-studded cast from across the Indian film industry. The film features legendary actor Mohanlal and pan-India star Prabhas in special cameo roles, with their first-look posters already unveiled.
In an exciting revelation, it has been confirmed that both Prabhas and Mohanlal have chosen to act in Kannappa without charging any remuneration. Manchu Vishnu himself disclosed this in a recent media interaction, stating that the duo took part in the project purely out of love and respect for his father, the legendary actor Mohan Babu. This heartwarming gesture has been widely appreciated.
However, Prabhas’ first look as Rudra initially failed to create the expected impact, drawing mixed reactions and even criticism from netizens. Despite this, the film regained momentum with the release of its first song, Shiva Shiva Shankaraa, which received an overwhelming response, rekindling excitement and anticipation among fans.
As part of the film’s promotional campaign, the team is actively engaging with media across multiple languages. Kannappa is set for a worldwide theatrical release on April 25th.
