Pan-India superstar Prabhas has officially announced his next big venture titled Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series, is set in the 1940s during India’s colonial period. The announcement poster, featuring a burning British flag and powerful imagery of rebellion, has already created a massive buzz across social media.
Fauzi promises to be a grand historical action drama packed with emotion, patriotism, and high-octane visuals. Prabhas will be seen in a fierce, revolutionary role, marking a refreshing shift from his recent futuristic and mythological outings. The film also boasts an impressive supporting cast, including veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, and Bhanu Chandar.
On the technical front, the film has a stellar crew. Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee, known for his stunning visual work, will handle the camera, while Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is in charge of editing, and Anil Vilas Jadhav is designing the film’s elaborate production sets.
Scheduled for a grand theatrical release in August 2026, Fauzi will hit screens in six languages — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali — solidifying its pan-India appeal. With its unique storyline, historical backdrop, and massive scale, Fauzi is expected to be one of the biggest cinematic events of 2026. Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates, teasers, and the first look at Prabhas in his powerful new avatar.
