With each update, excitement for Prabhas‘ “Kalki 2898 AD” is reaching new heights. The recently released animated series “Bujji and Bhairava” offers a sneak peek into this highly anticipated film, which masterfully combines mythology and science fiction. Directed by Nag Ashwin, “Kalki 2898 AD” is Prabhas’ next release following his blockbuster hit “Salaar.”
US ticket sales will open on June 8. According to a recent tweet from the film’s US distributor, the movie will have a runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes. However, we await the CBFC certificate for final confirmation of the duration.
Set for a grand release on June 27, the film features Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwattama. The roles of Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani are still shrouded in mystery. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies with an impressive budget of 600 crores, “Kalki 2898 AD” features a score composed by Santosh Narayanan.
