On the international front, the craze is equally electrifying, with ₹30 crore gross coming from overseas markets. Combined, the worldwide advance bookings have already crossed ₹65 crore for Day 1, even before the Andhra Pradesh bookings and special premiere show tickets have been opened. These are expected to go live later today, and trade analysts predict the numbers will soar past ₹100 crore by the end of the day.
The film is eyeing a staggering ₹150 crore in Day 1 advances worldwide (including premiere collections), setting the tone for a historic opening. To break even, Pushpa 2 will need to gross ₹1300 crore globally during its full run. With positive word of mouth (WOM), the film has the potential to challenge Baahubali 2’s benchmark numbers.
