After almost two weeks in theaters, Pushpa 2 is still making waves at the box office, continuing to perform exceptionally well across India. By the end of its 12-day run, Pushpa 2 is nearing a major milestone in Hindi cinema. On its second Monday, the film earned around ₹21-22 crores, a sharp drop from Sunday’s ₹54 crores, marking a 60% decline. However, this is a typical pattern seen in the industry after the weekend rush. The Hindi version has already amassed ₹582 crores and is expected to cross the ₹600 crore mark by Tuesday. This would place it among the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time, with the current leader, Stree 2, earning ₹627 crores.
By Thursday, Pushpa 2 is set to surpass Stree 2 to become the highest-grossing Hindi film, and it might even be on track to reach ₹700 crores, a remarkable feat for a South Indian film dubbed in Hindi. The film’s total earnings in India have already crossed ₹900 crores, and its worldwide earnings have reached an impressive ₹1440 crores in just 12 days.
