Pushpa 2 had a phenomenal opening in India, surpassing Baahubali 2 in all regions, including North India, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film’s domestic opening alone exceeded the worldwide opening of Baahubali 2 and RRR.
However, when it comes to overseas collections, Baahubali 2 still holds the record. The film opened to more than $10 million globally, whereas Pushpa 2 is expected to earn around $8 million in its opening.
The worldwide opening gross for Pushpa 2 is projected to be around 290 crore, marking an impressive start for the film. The Hindi version is performing exceptionally well on Day 2, maintaining its momentum, while the Tamil version is seeing a steady performance. However, the Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions have experienced a slight decline in bookings for the second day.
