Rachakonda Police Commissioner Warns of Arrest if Mohan Babu Fails to Cooperate

Date:

Veteran Tollywood actor Mohan Babu has recently found himself in the midst of multiple controversies. Following a complaint lodged by his son, Manchu Manoj, the Pahadi Shareef police booked Mohan Babu. The actor was further embroiled in a legal issue when a case was filed against him for allegedly attacking a journalist, resulting in a serious injury during a heated altercation at his residence last week. As a result, Mohan Babu was hospitalized but is currently recovering at home. He recently visited the injured journalist at the hospital.

Adding to his troubles, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu has warned Mohan Babu of possible arrest if he fails to attend an investigation related to the assault case. The Commissioner revealed that the actor had requested time until December 24 to respond to the notice. Authorities have instructed the actor to present a medical certificate during the investigation.

The Commissioner further clarified that Mohan Babu’s firearms do not come under the jurisdiction of the Rachakonda Commissionerate, as the actor has deposited them at the Chandragiri Police Station in Chittoor. The police are set to take action as per the law if the actor does not comply with the investigation after the given deadline.
