Ajay Devgn is coming with his much awaited movie Raid 2. The tough IRS officer Amay Patnaik is back with the sequel to the superhit Raid. The director of this movie is Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the sequel. The movie is now out in theatres. This time, the income tax raid targets a powerful politician played by Ritesh Deshmukh.
Ajay Devgn’s crime thriller registered good advances. The sales of 86,000 tickets in the national chains for the opening day is the proof. The advance is also bigger than Ajay’s recent movie Shaitan . According to trade experts, Raid 2 is expected to open at Rs. 15 crores—Rs. 17 crores nett.
The opening day collection could move towards the Rs. 20 crore net mark.
The movie is also getting a lot of hype and positive feedback from the audience because of its previous Blockbuster Raid movie.
