Top Tollywood banner Mythri Movie Makers is steadily expanding its footprint beyond Telugu cinema, actively producing films in Hindi and Tamil as well. After delivering a decent hit with Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly, the production house is now eyeing a high-profile project with none other than Superstar Rajinikanth.
Talks have reportedly begun for this exciting collaboration, and if all goes well, talented director Vivek Athreya will helm the project. Known for his unique storytelling in films like Mental Madhilo, Brochevarevarura, Ante Sundaraniki, and the upcoming Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Vivek Athreya has crafted an intriguing script tailored for Rajinikanth.
The Superstar, who has long expressed interest in working with Telugu filmmakers, is said to be open to the collaboration and is reviewing the script. If impressed, this could mark a significant new chapter in cross-industry partnerships.
Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for Jailer 2 and has wrapped up Coolie, which is slated for a grand release on August 14.
