Ram Charan, the Megapower Star, is set to team up with director Buchi Babu Sana of “Uppena” fame for an upcoming rural action sports drama. Currently, Buchi Babu is immersed in a talent hunt to fill crucial roles, with filming slated to commence once Charan wraps up his commitments to Shankar’s “Game Changer”.
Recent speculation suggested that Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor would be joining the cast as the female lead in this project, tentatively titled RC16. This speculation has now been officially confirmed by none other than Janhvi’s father, Boney Kapoor, in a recent interview. The veteran producer announced that Janhvi is gearing up to begin shooting for RC16, with the full support of her late mother, Sri Devi.
Boney Kapoor’s confirmation has put an end to the uncertainty surrounding the female lead of RC16. This marks Janhvi Kapoor’s second venture into Tollywood after “Devara,” signaling a promising start to her journey in Telugu cinema.
The prestigious production of RC16 will be helmed by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers. Adding to the grandeur, Academy Award winner AR Rahman has been brought on board to compose the music for the film.
