Amid much anticipation, the 16th project of renowned actor Ram Charan, tentatively titled RC16, was inaugurated in a grand event in Hyderabad a few days ago. Positioned as an intense sports drama set against a rustic village backdrop, this yet-to-be-titled film will star Janhvi Kapoor, the elder daughter of yesteryear icon Sridevi and a celebrated Bollywood actress, as the female lead Taking to Instagram recently, Ram Charan shared a glimpse of the RC16 launch ceremony, expressing his enthusiasm for the project. In one image, Charan is seen alongside Janhvi Kapoor, director Buchi Babu Sana, co-producer and distinguished filmmaker Sukumar, and the team from Mythri Movie Makers. Another picture captures Charan engaging in a friendly conversation with Janhvi.
RC16 boasts a soundtrack crafted by the legendary AR Rahman, adding another layer of excitement to the film’s prospects. Jointly produced under the banners of Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings, and Mythri Movie Makers, shooting is slated to commence in the coming months.
