Ramoji Rao, who transformed Telugu media with his visionary ideas, has passed away. The media tycoon had been battling age-related health issues and breathed his last in a hospital today. Numerous celebrities are visiting his residence to pay their last respects.
Ramoji Rao’s legacy includes the creation of Ramoji Film City (RFC), the world’s largest film city, which provides employment to countless cine workers and helps directors bring their grand visions to life. In honor of the legend, there will be no shootings in Tollywood tomorrow, as confirmed by Telugu Film Chamber Secretary Damodhar Prasad.
The final rites will be held tomorrow between 9 A.M. and 11 A.M. at Ramoji Film City. The Telangana government has issued orders for the funeral to be conducted with state honors.
