Sundar C surprised everyone with the blockbuster hit “Aranmanai 4” this year. Starring Rashi Khanna and Tamannaah in lead roles, this horror comedy has become one of the biggest successes in their careers. The combination of their glamour in the songs and the film’s horror-comedy elements resonated well with audiences. Now, Sundar C is returning with a new project where he will not only direct but also play the lead role.
Rashi Khanna will once again star in this film, marking her third collaboration with Sundar C after “Aranmanai 3” and “Aranmanai 4.” Vadivelu will also play a significant role in the film, adding to the excitement.
“Aranmanai 4” was also made as a bilingual film, with portions released as “Baak” in Telugu. Although it included comedians Vennela Kishore and Srinivasa Reddy for comic relief, the Telugu version didn’t perform as well as expected. Despite initial low expectations, the film’s success was driven by the lead actresses’ glamour and the engaging horror-comedy elements. There are plans for a fifth installment in the “Aranmanai” series, but nothing has been finalized yet.
