Rashmika Mandanna continues to reign as one of the few Telugu actresses with true pan-Indian stardom. With back-to-back blockbuster hits across industries—including Bollywood—she’s become a sought-after name for both lead roles and impactful cameo appearances in big-budget projects nationwide.
Despite receiving multiple high-profile offers, Rashmika has prioritized Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film (VD14), directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The actress reportedly turned down other major projects to commit to this much-anticipated collaboration with her Geetha Govindam co-star.
Meanwhile, industry buzz suggests that director Prashanth Neel is eyeing Rashmika for a special appearance in ‘Dragon’, his ambitious pan-India film starring Jr NTR. Though Rukmini Vasanth is said to be playing the female lead, Rashmika might be roped in for a brief but impactful guest role.
If the casting comes through, this would mark the first-ever on-screen collaboration between Rashmika and NTR, a pairing fans have been eager to witness. ‘Dragon’ recently wrapped up a high-octane action sequence near Gokarna, Karnataka, with NTR actively participating in the shoot. The actor is expected to resume filming once he returns from his London trip.
Whether as a lead or in a cameo, Rashmika’s presence continues to add value to every project—and ‘Dragon’ might just be the next film to benefit from her star power.
