A month ago, rumors circulated in Mollywood that versatile actor Prithviraj Sukumaran would play the antagonist in SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film. Now, a Bollywood media outlet has reported that Prithviraj has been finalized for the villain role in this globe-trotting action adventure, tentatively titled SSMB29.
“SS Rajamouli and Prithviraj Sukumaran have been in talks for some time, and Prithviraj has reportedly agreed to the role, as the script excited him. Rajamouli aims to redefine the hero-vs-villain conflict with SSMB29. Prithviraj won’t be playing a typical villain; his character is well-written and has an arc. The scripting is nearly complete, and Rajamouli plans to commence shooting by the end of the year,” stated the report.
If this report proves true, audiences will be in for a treat, witnessing two of the best actors sharing the screen. KL Narayana of Durga Arts is producing this big-ticket entertainer, with Oscar-winning music director MM Keeravani composing the tunes.
