Retro movie is Suriya’s latest movie. It has hit theaters on May 1, 2025. Pooja hegde is playing the female lead role. The movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and the cast includes Jayaram, Joju George, and Nassar. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music.
The film is Produced by Kaarthekeyen, Santhanam, Kalyan Subramanian, Jyothika and Suriya under Stone Bench Creations and 2D Entertainment and Edited by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
Now coming to the box office collection.
The movie has collected around 36 Cr gross in 4 days in Tamil Nadu while in Kerala it gathered 4 Cr. The film collected around 5.5 Cr in Telugu states, while if we add the Karnataka and ROI numbers, the total all-India gross will be around 52 Cr.
The total collection overseas is also very poor. It has collected only 20 cr. Which makes the total worldwide collection of Retro to be 72 cr.
