Well before the shooting of Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s #SSMB29 began, rumors circulated that Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram might play the antagonist. Some even speculated he could have a parallel lead role alongside Mahesh Babu.
However, with Prithviraj Sukumaran officially joining the cast and already filming, those rumors seemed to have died down.
Now, fresh social media chatter has revived the buzz. Vikram is once again being linked to the film, this time reportedly for another important role. Though the film team has not confirmed anything, online speculation continues to grow.
When asked about working with Rajamouli during the promotions of his film Thangalaan, Vikram said, “Rajamouli garu is a good friend. We have been talking for a while now. Of course, we will be doing a film sometime.” Whether this hints at his involvement in #SSMB29 or another project remains to be seen
