Amaran is a biographical film inspired by the courageous journey of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a decorated officer in the Indian Army. Sivakarthikeyan leads as Major Varadarajan, while Sai Pallavi plays his supportive wife. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film is set for a grand release in theaters tomorrow.
In a bid to connect more deeply with her role, Sai Pallavi has actively engaged in promoting the film, sharing insights in recent interviews. For the first time, she chose to dub her own Hindi lines, citing the importance of authentic emotional expression. Pallavi admitted her dissatisfaction with prior dubbing attempts and believes her voice will convey the character’s emotions more genuinely.
Amaran has seen strong pre-booking numbers, hinting at a promising start at the box office. Produced by Kamal Haasan, Vivek Krishnani, and R. Mahendran, this multilingual project is supported by G.V. Prakash Kumar’s powerful soundtrack, poised to enhance the film’s impact across diverse audiences.
