“Saindhav,” one of the Telugu movies released during the Sankranthi season, marked the first collaboration between Victory Venkatesh and director Sailesh Kolanu. Notably, it is also Venkatesh’s 75th film. Released on January 13, 2024, the movie did not perform as well as expected at the box office. Its reception on OTT platforms was also lukewarm, even though it was available in multiple South Indian languages.
Now, nearly five months later, the Hindi version of “Saindhav” is available on Jio Cinema with English subtitles. Additionally, the Hindi version will air tonight at 8 PM on the Colors Cineplex channel. It remains to be seen how the northern audiences will respond to this revenge drama.
Shraddha Srinath stars as the female lead, with a supporting cast that includes Arya, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Andrea Jeremiah, Mukesh Rishi, Baby Sara, Ruhani Sharma, and others in key roles. Produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the Niharika Entertainment banner, the film features music by Santhosh Narayanan, whose next project is the Prabhas-starrer “Kalki 2898 AD.”
