Samantha is expanding her horizons beyond Tollywood and Kollywood, setting her sights on diverse projects in Bollywood. Following her appearance in “Kushi” last year, she made a notable impact in Hindi cinema with a negative role in Raj and DK’s “Family Man 2,” which earned her widespread acclaim. Currently, Samantha is busy with multiple Hindi projects.
Next, she will be seen in “Citadel” by Raj and DK, co-starring Varun Dhawan. She has also signed on for another web series, “Rakht Brahmand,” with Netflix, directed by the same duo. This period fantasy show, featuring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Wamiqa Gabbi, will be directed by Rahi Anil Barve and is set to begin filming in August.
Additionally, Samantha will co-star with Mammootty in a Gautham Menon project, also starting in August. She is also set to appear in “Thalapathy 69,” directed by H Vinoth, marking Vijay’s last film before his anticipated entry into politics.
